WAIKIAT'S BLOG: Bandung, Indonesia Day1

After long long while, i decided to update you guys where i went on the 19th ~ 22nd of September 2008.

On the first day, we took a Putra LRT at 6am from Taman Melati to KL Sentral so that we can get the 7am SkyBus to LCCT. So when we reach the LCCT, we rush our way to check in. It is actually my second time boarding a plane and my friend jay was the first time. So as we know, before check in, our luggage has to go thru a X-ray scan for safety purpose. But, we was trying to walk thru without the scan because we don't know, and the police there tahan us and ask us to put in the luggage to scan it. The funny part is I put in mine first and Jay was behind of me and putting in his. Then we have to walk front to collect our luggage. I don't know Jay was too excited or what, he was trying to take my luggage where he trying to grab it from my hand, I was like???!?!?!? After that only he know that that was mine and he was thinking that was his luggage. The police or the kastam people was laughing looking at us.

Then, we go and check ourselves in at the counter and pass our luggage to them. Since we still got some time and we haven't take our breakfast so we went to McD for our breakfast. So after chit chat a bit then we head to the boarding room and wait for boarding.
Cut the story short, after getting into the plane, we sit for 2 hours and we arrive the Bandung, Indonesia.

And ya, some funny story happened when collecting the luggage from the kastam people. All of us had actually collected the luggage and yewwing is the last one to collect his. Why?? The kastam people has actually tahan his luggage because they need to check what's inside the bag. Yewwing was telling : "Itu bag saya" and the kastam people say: "Bukan, bukan". And the same sentence has actually repeated for few times as well as the answer. It is actually they ask yewwing to buka the bag instead of bukan bukan, because they want to check his luggage.

Then we walk out from the airport and go to the taxi counter to buy a coupon from the airport to the hotel (Hotel SukaJadi) that we are going to stay for the next 3 nights. After reaching the hotel, the counter telling me the room is not ready and ask us to wait. So we walk ourselves to Carrefour to buy some water and foods for supper and take our lunch at KFC.

Then we walk back to the hotel for the room. The guy ask me is it four people? I was like hmm... Even tho we 4 people, I also wont tell you that it was four, because we need to pay extra for the extra bed. We was like 2 bed rooms and we share the 2 beds. So i tell them just 2people and the another 2 is just friends. Got into the room, take a rest, nap, then we walk out to buy SIM card to call the driver for tomorrow journey.

On the way walking, we saw the sign board showing Rumah Mode Factory Outlet and we thought was near and actually it is not. We walk around 15~20mins to reach there, then we walk around inside and have not buy anythings from there. Then we walk back to the hotel and stop by the phone shop that we bought the sim card because I don't know how to activate the card because all are in BAHASA INDON!!!!!

After reaching hotel, get our self wash up, get some rest. Then we walk out to the opposite road for dinner, Pak Chi Met Ikan Bakar. All of us has actually ordered Ayam bakar set where they have chicken, rice, vegetables, a cumi(sotong) satay, and a prawn satay. Taste good!!
bla bla bla... then we walk to carrefour there again because that place very happening at night when it is weekend, many young people gather there and the radio station doing live casting there itself. Then we go back to hotel for some drinks ^^(Carlsberg Anchor - very cheap there if compare with Msia) and supper...
